Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress best known for her performance as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s, with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Following that, she performed on Broadway throughout a range of performances until 1957 when Li'lAbner went famous at the National Theatre. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise's debut appearance in Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. It received wide reviews. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. She was enrolled at Actors Studio, New York in the same time and was Lee Strasberg's teacher. Her next memorable role came through in 1964 when she joined CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise was able to do a fantastic job juggling Broadway and Hollywood. She played somber as well as contrasting characters from the glamorous doll she was often portrayed. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. SG-1, and Helen Magnus on Sanctuary. She has also become a well-known director for TV shows that are popular, like Supernatural and The 100. She was born in Essex on the 28th of August, 1965. Her family emigrated to Toronto at the age of 3 where she subsequently spent in the adolescent years and childhood. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She was there ever since then.
